About the game
Dive into Lulu’s Reef, where little learners count, spell, sort and paint with a friendly baby octopus!
Lulu talks your child through every game, so no reading is needed. Every tap teaches something: numbers, letters, phonics, rhymes, shapes, colors, patterns, memory and feelings. Wrong answers get a gentle “let’s try again”, and a glowing hint appears before anyone gets stuck.

What’s inside
Lulu talks them through it
Every instruction is spoken, so no reading is needed. A gentle “let’s try again” and a glowing hint mean no one gets stuck.
23 games in 5 reef zones
Number Reef, Letter Lagoon, Shape Shoal, Color Cove and Memory Grotto teach numbers, letters, phonics, rhymes, shapes, colors, patterns, memory and feelings, with mazes, jigsaws and dot-to-dots along the way.
Play-along stories and sing-along songs
Eight picture-book stories read by Lulu, with each word lighting up as it’s read and a question about the picture on every page. Five songs to sing and dance along to.
Grows with your child
Tell Lulu your child’s age, from 2 to 6, and every game starts at the right level. Difficulty adapts as they play, and the age moves up each year.
Pearls, crowns and sea friends
Every win earns pearls that welcome 45 sea friends into an aquarium to decorate. Top levels win a crown, Lulu’s Journey strings games into one trail, and new words become stickers.
Made for families
Up to four children, each with their own reef and progress, an optional daily play timer, and a learning map that shows what each child has learned and what comes next.
When is Lulu’s Reef coming out?
Soon, on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Store links will appear on this page on launch day.
Are there ads in Lulu’s Reef?
No. There are no ads of any kind, and there never will be.
Do you collect my child’s data?
No. There are no accounts, analytics, crash reporting or tracking. Progress is saved only on the device. The privacy policy has the details.
Does Lulu’s Reef record my child?
No. When a story asks your child to say something out loud, Lulu just waits a moment. The app has no access to the microphone or camera and records nothing.
Does Lulu’s Reef work offline?
Yes. It uses the internet only when a grown-up buys or restores the unlock, or opens a link from the grown-ups area.
Which ages is Lulu’s Reef for?
Ages 2 to 6. You set your child’s age, and each game starts at that level and adapts as they play.
Is Lulu’s Reef free?
It’s free to download and to try: five games (one in each zone) are free to keep, every other game has three free levels, Lulu’s pick of the day is open all day, and three stories and three songs are free. One optional purchase unlocks all 23 games, every story and song, and future updates. There’s no subscription.
Can I see what my child is learning?
Yes. In the grown-ups area, each child has a learning map with milestones in six areas, showing what they’ve reached and what comes next.
Can my child buy things or leave the app by accident?
No. Purchases, links, settings and progress sit behind a grown-up gate: you type three numbers that are written as words.
