About this policy
Lulu’s Reef is a learning game for young children made by Bayyara Games (“we”). We built it so that it collects nothing about your child or you.
What we collect
Nothing. Lulu’s Reef does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting services and no third-party tracking tools in the app.
What stays on the device
To make the game work, the app saves a small amount of information only on your device:
- for each child you add: the name or nickname you type (optional), the sea friend they picked, their age and the day you set it (so games start at the right level and move up as they grow),
- game progress (levels, pearls, sea friends collected, the aquarium they decorated and their sticker book),
- today’s play time and the daily limit, if you set one,
- sound settings,
- whether the full game has been unlocked.
This information never leaves the device. Deleting the app removes all of it; Grown-ups → your child → Edit → Reset progress or Remove child removes one child’s.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The app only learns whether the purchase succeeded.
Grown-up gate
Purchases, links that leave the app, settings and progress are behind a grown-up gate that young children can’t pass.
Children’s privacy
Lulu’s Reef is designed for children and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR (including Article 8), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and Apple’s and Google’s rules for kids apps. Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to review, export or delete on our side.
Internet use
The game works fully offline. It connects to the internet only when a grown-up makes or restores a purchase, or opens a link from the grown-up area (for example this policy or our support email).
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we’ll update the date above and describe the change in the app’s release notes. We will never start collecting children’s personal information.
